you most likely know Mel Robbins from her popular podcast and previous books, but her newest book is a #1 New York Times bestseller. She says “two simple words will change how you think about your entire life and set you free”.
The Let Them theory is a proven method that teaches you how to protect your time and energy, and focus on what matters to you. It’s a simple tool that works by not giving your power away and focusing what you can control: yourself.
the mindful book club is way more than just reading a book together. It’s personal improvement with a social twist! here’s how it works:
we'll read (or listen to) the chosen book - i'll break it into pieces so it's not too much!
you'll receive a weekly email with suggested chapters, thoughtful questions to help you digest the info + mindful reading tips
i'll give you practices to focus on to turn the words into action
i'll facilitate an online community for frequent discussion, group coaching + accountability
in-person connection with like-hearted women! we will meet at the beginning, middle and end to discuss and reflect on the book, activities and more. You don’t have to attend all events, but it’s encouraged to get the most out of the club! I offer both night and daytime options to accomodate everyone, but let me know ahead of time if one doesn’t work for you. I’ll adjust the meet-up if the majority can’t make it.
kick-off Zoom: Sunday, April 6th 7:30pm
midway meet-up walk+ talk: Wednesday, April 30th 9:30-10:30am
end-of-book discussion: Tuesday, May 20th at 7pm @ the Salt Cave of Darien (salt session included in your registration!)
the session will run for ~6 weeks.
